Hey there! Just taking a minute to update those who are actually reading this part of the website…We are weeks away from completing principle art for the book. I’m sorry! I had to! Anyway, just had a really nice reading at the YMCA in Burbank, Ca! Thank’s to all of you preschooler’s for having a good time and participating in the Howling and Quacking! I look forward to reading to the K’s and 1st graders in a couple of weeks! Peace and Love, Michael

Hey kids…another reading is in the works at the Burbank YMCA child development center. I also passed out order forms at the Ventura Place Farmers Market on Sunday with many positive responses. Thank’s to everyone who took a mailer with a smile! Hope to see your return postcards in the mail…Please send those post cards in before the end of July. We still have to print the books and in order to do that we need your orders!!! So don’t delay…send today!!! Peace! Michael

What a day…The President Avenue School reading was a success!!! I would like to thank Dr. Annor, the students and teachers for allowing me to read to them. You guys were great! Thank you for your participation. I also would like to thank Brenda for setting it up…Thank you! So what’s next? Another reading? Perhaps! I’m working on it. Anyway…I look foreward to your responses. I am happy to say that almost all the Teaser Flyers are gone…thank you! The word is out. Now, it’s just a matter of getting the book out. I spoke to a couple of kids today after they picked up a flyer at a local snack stand…on their own, no encouragement!!! I want to thank all the book stores, cafe’s, and independent business owners for allowing me to advertise at their establishments…Thank you! I am looking foreward to see what happens next. Thank you all for your support (and for actually reading this page!!!). It won’t be long. Bwhahahahaha!

Well…I have to say, two more months of illustrations and preparations and we’ll be finished with the first of many steps. It’s been a long journey for Wolf Pup and Duckling, but I feel the end result will be fantastic. I hope I will see all of you there when the journey begins, but first we have to find a book bindery that can make The Great Willow…well…Great! Thank you all for your love and support. It’s official…The reading is a go on Monday, June 11th! I am bringing a camera crew to document the event and have prepared a slide show for the kids. This is gonna be AWESOME! I wish everyone could see this, but don’t fret! There will a Willow release party in one of the great parks of LA (still to be determined) with a scavenger hunt! I will keep you posted on that! Also, bookmarks, featuring “The Great Willow” itself and a postcard pre-sale mailer are being printed. So when you see it…fill it out and send it to the address on the card. You will not have to pay for it until it is pressed, so there is time to save your money! Peace! Michael

A reading of “The Great Willow” is under construction with President Avenue School in Harbor City on June 13th! This will be the first “official” reading so Nancy and I are working on a slide show and other goodies for the kids. I will keep you posted on the progress and other up coming events! OH!
